Just For Kids:  Hands-on House classes offer an opportunity to explore topics in-depth in a small group setting geared for 3-6 year olds. Classes are led by experienced museum educators and incorporate hands-on, participatory activities. The cost is $12 for members or $14 for nonmembers.

Registration Policies

  • You may register for Spring 2008 classes in person or on the phone at any time.
  • You may register for Summer 2008 classes in person at the museum during our public museum hours beginning on Tuesday, May 27.
  • You may also register for Summer 2008 classes by phone during public museum hours beginning Thursday, May 29.
  • Payment is due in full at the time of registration.
  • You must register for all classes in advance by visiting or calling Hands-on House.
  • Registration is on a “first-come, first-served” basis.
  • You may only register your own children.
  • Children must be toilet trained (not needing diapers or pull-ups) to attend class, except for Storybook Picnic.
  • Hands-on House reserves the right to cancel any class.
  • There will be no refunds unless the class is canceled.
  • Class payment is not transferable to a different class, day, or time.
