Volunteering at Hands-on House is a great way for teens to gain valuable work experience, learn responsibility, work with young children, make new friends, and give something back to their community while having fun. It's also a terrific way to earn service learning credit for school, church or scouting.

Summer teen volunteers participate as camp aides for Summertime Station, our special summer camp program for children ages 4-7. Camp aides work directly with the young campers, assisting with projects and activities while having great fun! Volunteer shifts are 8:30am - 12:30pm, Monday through Friday. Volunteers are asked to commit to one or more full weeks.

Volunteers must be in the 8th grade (or older) for the 2018-2019 school year. Volunteers attend an orientation session and are expected to volunteer a minimum of 20 hours over the summer months.

If you would like volunteer during the summer of 2018, please fill out the online teen volunteer form or click here to download, print, and mail back the form. We will send you more information in the spring.
