Remco, Inc. Pledges $35,000 Donation for Construction-Themed Exhibit

Remco, Inc. has committed to contribute $35,000 toward HOH Construction Co., our new interactive exhibit slated to open early this year.  Geared towards elementary-school ages, the exhibit will teach children about different occupations and trades in the construction field, supporting construction industry workforce development.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, it is our pleasure to help with this exhibit. We are excited to see it develop and are hopeful about the visibility it will bring to the trades as a whole,” said Remco, Inc. Vice President Randy Beam.

An employee-owned company, Remco, Inc. provides construction and maintenance services, including electrical and mechanical construction, HVAC services and plumbing. More than 500 employees service the Mid-Atlantic region out of five branch offices, including one in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

“Remco is providing significant support to make the vision of HOH Construction Co. a reality. On behalf of the thousands of children and families who will enjoy this new exhibit experience over the next decade, we are grateful for Remco’s generous gift, and we are enthusiastic about their partnership,” said Jim Bland, executive director at Hands-on House.

Hands-on House announced in the fall that Associated Builders and Contractors, Keystone Chapter, has committed to be the presenting sponsor for the HOH Construction Co. exhibit. The Manheim-based construction trade association represents more than 500 construction- related firms in the region, including Remco, Inc.
