Closure Update | Hands-On House

Closure Update

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Hands-on House will remain closed until it is safe for our staff, guests and community to reopen.

This closure includes all programs, such as Discovery To Go outreach workshops, and events, including birthday parties and facility rentals, scheduled during this time. Please email questions regarding rescheduling to info@handsonhouse.org.  Our Touch-A-Truck fundraiser, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 25, has been postponed. As of now, we are hoping to hold this event at a later date.

Unfortunately, closing our doors and canceling events and programs for the foreseeable future means a significant loss in crucial revenue. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we rely on the contributions of our community. We need your help now more than ever. If you are able, please consider making a donation, becoming a member, renewing your membership, or purchasing admission passes for future use. Your support is needed to help sustain Hands-on House during this crisis and ensure that our doors can once again open for children and families to learn, play and create lifelong memories here together.

Until then, be sure visit our Activities and Resources page for at-home learning opportunities, including links to our Virtual Story Stretchers.  We will be adding to this page over the coming weeks, so we hope you’ll find something new to try or learn each time you visit! And be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram, and sign up for our e-newsletter for important museum updates — so we can stay connected, even while we are apart!

Stay home, stay safe, and stay well.
