Part-time Museum Assistant (Evenings and Weekends)
Hands-on House Children’s Museum of Lancaster is seeking part-time Museum Assistant in order to expand our hours of operations and our offerings to children and their families. If you enjoy engaging with children, and can welcome and direct visitors, ring up admissions, re-set and sanitize exhibits and keep our space looking tidy with a smile and friendly disposition, this may be the right job for you.
We are seeking qualified candidates to work 4+ hours per day, evenings and/or weekends. Candidates must be 14 and older and clearances will be required.
Position includes weekday and weekend schedules. Our new hours of operation will be as follows:
| Monday: | 9 AM – 3 PM |
| Tuesday – Wednesday: | 9 AM – 5PM |
| Thursday- Friday: | 9AM- 8PM |
| Saturday: | 9 AM- 6PM |
| Sunday: | 11 AM – 5 PM |
Hours can be adjusted for the right candidate. This position has dress code requirement as well as background checks and FBI clearances. You will be on your feet most of the time. Light lifting and frequent bending and twisting required. Masks required of all workers. These are customer facing positions. Multiple positions available.

To keep staff safe as possible we require masks, temperature checks and frequent handwashing. Visitors are temperature checked and required to wash hands upon entry. Visitors over 3 are required to wear masks.
