A House for a Hermit Crab
by Eric Carle

One day Hermit Crab grows out of his shell and looks for a new home. But his new home is just too plain, so he invites some undersea friends to join him. Starfish agrees to help him decorate, a snail and a sea urchin help him clean and protect him, a lantern fish helps with lighting. They all live happily for a while, until it’s time to move to an even larger place. This delightful story is based on the true behaviors of the Hermit Crab.
